With the global economy being rocked by turmoil and uncertainty, The Conference Board conducted a Compensation Planning Outlook Mid-Year Pulse Check survey. The results show that organizations are holding steady when it comes to pay projections for 2012. Average base pay increases for non-unionized employees are projected to be 3.0 per cent, down only slightly from the summer projection of 3.1 per cent.
